Previous Priorities:

* Inconsiderate parking outside Stirchley School in Charlotte Road
Officers have patrolled outside the school together with teachers to prevent poor parking. The caretaker has been loaned the use of some traffic cones to keep the area opposite the school clear at school start and end times. The manager of Travis Perkins is working with the school and police to assist in resolving the issue. Police will continue to pay attention in the next few weeks and look at other methods of encouraging parents to walk their children to school, such as a ‘park and stride’ scheme.

* Vehicles jumping red lights under railway bridge in Bournville Lane
Officers have paid attention but have not witnessed any offences as yet. The neighbourhood team now use Bournville Lane as a route into Stirchley. The team will deal with any incidents they witness.

Other Updates

Travellers at derelict industrial site in Stirchley
The police team, together with Councillor Huxtable and Council Officers worked together to ensure the owners of the site took action to remove the travellers from this unsuitable location.
We will speak to the owners to ensure it is properly secured in future to prevent a re-occurrence.

Police Officers and PCSOs have all been issued their own beat within the ward for which they have specific responsibility. If you would like to meet your officer please contact Sergeant Knowles who will arrange for them to visit or contact you
