The pershore rd in Stirchley is a bottle neck nightmare, isn't it about time they had parking restrictions like they do in cotteridge.
Some enforcement would be good,i have also noticed that some of the signs are turned around, so they are facing towards the shops, what do we reckon is going on there then.

There are already parking restrictions within Stirchley as far as I'm aware. You are able to park on one side 'til lunchtime then on the other side 'til tea-time at which point the restrictions are lifted.
Not brilliant, guaranteed, but it's something. The only sure-fire way of stopping the double parking is to make the Pershore Rd either in its entirity or in sections a red route which would prevent  this nonsense.  JP

This is a problem,
Most of the problems are caused by inconsiderate parking, if you lived near the centre, you could write a book, members of Stirchley Neighbourhood forum have complained in the past, Councilor Tim Huxtable, had the parking wardens up the frequency of visits, this worked, but then the local shop keepers complained that the bookings were driving away customers.
I feel that some of the local business don't help, when they park their van's outside their shops all of the time (where do their customers park?) A red route, isn't really the answer,a staggered red route might be.
There is a lot of unused space at the rear of the shops, but unfortunately, people don't want to walk any further than their car outside the shop of choice to the door, (some sunday mornings, cars park on the crossing area (zig zags) even when the whole road is empty, to save walking three yards to the shop.
Even leave engines running with no one in the car.
Some traders, do provide parking (specialist building plastics) but sometimes they park their large vans, in local roads all day without moving them, we then receive complaints that local residents can't get near their homes, especially those with very young children, elderly and disabled.

Should anyone have any suggestions,I am sure they would be welcome

Never mind upseting the dam well shop keepers they have to abide by the law, like the rest of us,you cannot have one rule for one set of shops in stirchley and another rule for the shops in cotteridge etc. I want to see traffic enforcment officers booking these people then they will get the message.
