Bournville Station Bridge Flooding
« on: June 06, 2018, 12:50:02 PM »
Under the bridge at Bournville Station was flooded (again) Sunday 27th in the big flood.
With a repeat promised for the Thursday 31st (but thankfully never arrived) I informed the Council 29th that the drain gulley's were blocked. Increasing the risk of flooding.
Here is an edited reply (but all the gist):

Thank you for taking the time to inform us of the blocked gullies under the railway bridge on Bournville Lane. We take all customer correspondence seriously, and use it to drive future service improvements.

Having reviewed the problem you reported, I have now created a works order ....... the cleansing is scheduled for completion within a maximum of 16 weeks.
(Reply 6th June).

Nice to know that the Council/Amey are on the case (not). 😒????
