any news or has everyone forgot about this place and mess?

as the "locals" have just set fire to the empty houses...... GREAT!
It was brought up at the Neighbourhood forum Meeting and Councilor Timothy Huxtable stated that the council were just as interested as everyone else in getting it sorted.
The empty house that was set fire to was visited by the police and the council, the owners have been notified.

the swimming baths are also infested with ghosts... re-open them for the Stirchley swimmers. STOP the councillors telling us we can't have a swimming pool. They have been elected to grant our wishes, DOES ANYONE OUT THERE AGREE WITH ME? We may wait another 20 years before any developments on a, the swimming baths, b,the community centre, c, the BT site. d, the back of willmott breedon/rockwells etc etc whats going on?

Myself and others have been on about this for years, but we never get any straight answers.
I have come to the conclusion there is some underlying reason why they want, to keep Stirchley in the mess it is. This area is desperate for Re Generation.
We have also asked for councillors to come on this site and answer questions, but no nothing are they afraid of something.
I would like to see this forum flooded with complaints and get Stirchley back on the map once and for all. Mark my words there will be people on here now and they will try and turn it around and tell us we are being negative,im afraid until we get a fair deal in Stirchley with money being spent then i will carry on being negative.
Strichley houses gone, Factories gone, Shops gone, Park gone, Swimming baths gone, Cinemas gone, Garages gone, the list goes on and on, maybe Cadburys next who knows, but lets hope the council will help keep it.
Stirchley gained Resturants and Takeaways.
